Services
MakeCrypto provides merchant workspace software for crypto payment links, payment status tracking, customer records, settlement settings, OAuth app authorization, webhook delivery, and integrations with platforms such as WooCommerce.
The services are software tools. We do not guarantee that every wallet, token, chain, payment route, exchange rate, settlement path, plugin, or third-party integration will remain available at all times.
Merchant Responsibility
Merchants are responsible for their products, checkout configuration, customer communications, taxes, refunds, chargeback policies, delivery, compliance obligations, and order handling. Merchants must ensure that their use of MakeCrypto and MakePay is lawful in every jurisdiction where they operate or sell.
Store administrators who connect an official plugin authorize the plugin to exchange OAuth tokens, create payment links, update MakePay settings such as webhook callback URLs, and receive signed webhook events for order status updates.
Eligibility
You may use the services only if you are at least 18 years old, can enter binding agreements, are not barred by applicable law, are not a sanctioned person, and are not acting for a sanctioned person or restricted entity.
You must not use the services for fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion, illegal goods or services, malware, deceptive activity, abusive automation, or infringement of third-party rights.
Digital Asset Risk
Digital asset payments involve risks including price volatility, incorrect addresses, wrong-network transfers, network congestion, smart-contract defects, oracle failures, chain reorganizations, bridge/provider outages, and irreversible transactions.
You are responsible for reviewing payment details, wallet prompts, settlement assets, destination addresses, supported chains, fees, exchange-rate assumptions, and order status before relying on a payment event.
Third Parties
The services may depend on blockchains, wallet providers, RPC providers, hosted infrastructure, ecommerce platforms, email providers, identity providers, analytics tools, and other third-party systems. Third-party failures can affect availability, payment confirmation, webhooks, dashboard data, and settlement timing.
Accounts and Security
You are responsible for protecting account access, API keys, OAuth credentials, webhook signing secrets, administrator accounts, plugin settings, and wallet credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe an account, plugin connection, token, key, or webhook secret is compromised.
Availability and Changes
We may modify, suspend, rate-limit, restrict, or discontinue any feature where needed for security, maintenance, legal, compliance, operational, or product reasons. We may update these terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date.
Disclaimers
The services are provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law. We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, and error-free operation.
The services do not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, financial, or compliance advice.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, loss of digital assets, or losses caused by third-party services, blockchain networks, plugins, merchant configuration, or user error.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable in Seychelles, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
